LG Rumor Reflex S Operating Instructions Tips Resume:
- Phone Software Upgrades – Updates to your phone„s software may become available from time to time. Sprint will automatically upload critical updates to your phone. You can also use the menu to check for and download updates. Touch Home > Main Menu > (slide the screen up to display more menu items) > Tools > Update Phone > Update Firmware to search for and download available updates.
- Turn Your Phone On and Off: The Power Save feature conserves your battery power when you are in an area where there is no signal
- Battery and Charger: Watch your phone„s battery level indicator and charge the battery before it runs out of power.
- Your phone's Status Bar:To view a list of your phone's icons and descriptions, from the Home screen touch Home > Main Menu > Settings > Phone Info > Icon Glossary.
- Using Another Phone to Access Messages: When you call into voicemail, you first hear the header information (date, time, and sender information) for the message. To skip directly to the message, press 4 during the header
- Dialing Options: To speed dial a phone number, touch and hold the speed dial number. If the speed dial number is two digits, enter the first digit, and then touch and hold the second digit. For information on setting up speed dial numbers, see Assign Speed Dial Numbers. This feature will not work when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint Network; when roaming you must dial using eleven digits [1 + the area code + the seven-digit phone number].
- My Content Manager: You can also access My Content Manager through the phone„s main menu. Touch Home > Main Menu > My Stuff > [Games, Ringtones, Screen Savers, Applications, or Ringback Tones] > My Content Manager > Go. The browser will open and take you to the corresponding content.
- Assign Pictures: After taking a picture, assign it as a screensaver or as a picture ID for a Contacts entry. You can also assign pictures from the My Photos & Videos menu. See In Phone Folder and microSD Card Options.
- Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR): Use ASR in a quiet environment so it can accurately recognize your commands.
- Unit Converter: While converting temperatures, touch the +/- key on the touch keypad to input negative temperatures.
- Incoming Ringer: You can adjust the ringer volume in any screen (or the earpiece volume during a call) by using the Volume Keys on the left side of your phone.
- Lock Phone: If you can„t recall your lock code, try using the last four digits of your wireless phone number. If this doesn„t work, call Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727.
- Change the Lock Code: To access the Change Lock Code menu, you can also Touch Home > Main Menu > (slide the screen up) > Settings > Reset/Delete and enter your lock code. Then select Change Lock Code.
- Roaming: Remember, when you are using your phone off the Nationwide Sprint Network, always dial numbers using 11 digits (1 + area code + number).
Update Firmware:
Only the internal software is updated when you use the Update Firmware tool. No Contacts entries or other information saved to your phone will be deleted.
- Touch Home > Main Menu > (slide the screen up) > Tools > Update Phone > Update Firmware.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Format Memory Card
Formatting a microSD card (memory card) permanently removes all files stored on the card.
- With the microSD card inserted, touch Home > Main Menu > (slide the screen up) > Tools > Mass Storage > Format Memory Card. A warning will be displayed.
- If you are sure you wish to remove all the files from your microSD card, touch Yes.
Display Your Phone Number, follows this instructions:
Touch Home > Main Menu > Settings > Phone Info > Phone#/User ID. Your phone number and
other information about your phone and account will be displayed.
Reset Default Settings
Resetting the phone to default settings restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings. The Contacts, Call History, Calendar, and Messaging are not affected.
To reset default settings:
- Touch Home > Main Menu > (slide the screen up) > Settings > (slide the screen up) > Reset/Delete and enter your lock code.
- Select Reset Settings. You will see a disclaimer.
- Read the disclaimer and if you are certain that you would like to restore all the factory settings, touch Reset.
Reset Your Phone
Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings. The Contacts, history, Scheduler, and Messaging items will be deleted.
- Touch Home> Main Menu > (slide the screen up) > Settings > (slide the screen up) > Reset/Delete and enter your lock code.
- Select Reset Phone.
- If you are certain that you would like to restore all factory settings, touch Reset.
